Nice staff but rooms are run down

The rooms are not kept up that well. There was paint either peeling off the walls, badly patched holes in the wall, or significant scuffs on most of the walls. The curtains were broken and they were missing several hooks so it sagged badly in the middle. The A/C worked well thankfully and the sheets and towels seemed clean. To their credit they did try hard to modernize the look of the room, it just a bit neglected in terms of the ambiance, so it just feels a bit sad overall. Customers should note that the hotel is adjacent to an RV park so some of the “views” out the windows look out onto it. Not what you expect exactly for ocean views. The breakfast is a standard continental breakfast that you can expect in any hotel at the level of a motel 6. Not bad but nothing particularly special. The price for this motel was quite a bit higher than that of other hotels in the area so we expected a bit more out of our experience.
