Horrible Customer Service

Ramada by Wyndham San Diego Poway Miramar

The rooms here were okay. My room wasn't dirty or anything. There was no do not disturb signs anywhere though. If I could give 0 bones I would give 0 bones for their customer service. When I checked in there was no one at the front desk. Right outside the front office there was an guy that worked the front desk & he didn't even know what he was doing. I was waiting to check in & he was standing outside taking a smoke break. He then proceeded to have me fill out some paperwork then "showed" me my room. He then leaves to go smoke without giving me a room key & just left me at my room. That was annoying already.

My 2nd day there a lady with the red shirt (maybe she's the manager?) comes banging on my door to tell me they HAVE to clean my room right this instant and didn't even let me a chance to change or get ready and she literally kicked me out of the room. From what I remember - usually the cleaning ladies knock on your door to ask if you need a room cleaning. This lady also worked at the front desk - she is beyond rude. She cut me off when I told her I had a meeting/some calls I had to take and nicely asked her to clean my room later (maybe in the next few hours) and she disregarded everything I said and rudely cut me off as I was speaking. She was a complete b*%ch. She also didn't inform me that my room was done cleaning so I was waiting for awhile and I had to ask her if the room was done.

After I went back into my room - the power went out. They were doing construction right outside and it was loud my entire stay there. My room was the downstairs room & I heard everyone walking from upstairs. It was so squeaky & loud. They were also making loud noises at 7am. Thankful for the girl who peeked out to tell them to stop because she was sleeping. They stopped for awhile then started again. I stayed here for a work trip to stay away from a family member who currently has COVID. I probably would've been HAPPIER sleeping in my car OR staying at home with my family member who had COVID with the risk of catching COVID myself - that's how bad it was. And to that lady who works at the front desk if you're reading this: You're horrible at customer service and so fake. Please go find another job. You're horrible and a waste of energy!
