La Quintas have gone down hill

Last time I stayed at a La Quinta it was fine. This time it reminded me of the last time I stayed at a Motel 6. Slightly grungy room, and lots of pretty sketchy guests making a lot of noise late into the night. I slept fine but my wife said she was up till two because of all the noise and worries for our lives and car. Not a great way to spend a night. Oh, and the toilet flapper valve was faulty so you had to jiggle it after every flush to keep it from running and running. Oh well, shame on us for going cheap.
