New hotel in nice area
Staybridge Suites Eau Claire - Altoona an IHG HotelWe loved staying here with our pup. Easy check in, nice accommodations, plenty of areas to walk around. The location was very walkable in a cute park near the river.

Quality Inn (consistent)
Quality Inn & Suites Coeur d'AleneFriendly hotel for dogs. There was ample space to walk and Fido is allowed everywhere that you are, which made eating breakfast easy. Unfortunately the room itself was not as nice. The room and hallway smelled terrible, the wall air condition had a constant high pitch, and the refrigerator/freezer was unusable.
