Great location!
Motel 6 Buellton CA - Solvang AreaStayed here for 2 nights. Booked via BF. No issues with check in. Front desk even checked on us.
It was loud next to the road. Also the AC would clunk on and off. But, there is a cute little park across the street, about a block down. It was a perfect walk in the morning. This was a great location for us to go to different places. Would def stay here again.

Coal Oil Point TrailOnce you come to the gate , go left and park. You will need to pay for parking as it is part of the ucsb campus. The walking path is beautiful. Not very many people on the beach at all. Lots of surfers.
There is a natural petroleum seepage in the ocean, at this area. When we left, our feet and our dogs had lots of oil on them. We ended up stopping to buy some dawn soap to clean it off. Wasn’t a easy task.
