Not very dog friendly

We have a service dog that we were told could be there at an outside table only, which is fine, and we ordered food for ourselves and also let the waitress know that we would like to order some chicken for our dog. She brought our food out and our dog’s food on a plate as well. Our dog was seated in a pet stroller and I proceeded to cut her chicken up and give it to her in her stroller. After a few minutes the owner approached us and said that it was against Delaware state law to feed our dog there. I was furious, especially since the waitress knew we were getting the chicken for our dog and brought it on a plate instead of a carry out container. I will never go back there, and I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone with a dog. This was Cottage Cafe in Bethany Beach Delaware.
