Great location, nice rooms
Paws on PelhamPROS: could walk to nice restaurants & there was a park just up the street to walk our doggie. Nice front porch to sit out & enjoy night air after dinner.
CONS: Our room was on 3rd floor - walking up many stairs, dragging luggage & dog. Concierge texted me code to get in front door the night before, but code didn't work. Fortunately, another guest saw us puzzling & let us in. She told us the code has been changed that morning BUT no one had told us. Had it not been for the friendly guest, who knows how long we'd have waited because there was no one in the office (no one was ever in the office as far as I could tell). Picky, I know, but a three-floor hike --- we'd not been warned about that & weren't prepared. I have a bad knee & our dog is 15, so it was extremely inconvenient.

Lovely old house with big yard
Admiral Sims HousePros: the yard & the room was nice; we opted to use the big ceiling fan instead of the A/C. Pretty neighborhood, nice owners. Beach nearby with beach towels provided,
Cons: not in walking distance to restaurants & sights; our room was on 2nd floor, which was inconvenient for taking our dog in & out.
