Nice, But Could Be Better

My husband and I stayed at the Coral Sands motel in Ocean City NJ in mid-September 2022. It is one of the very few places within Ocean City that allow pets. The motel itself did not feel comfortable and felt like it was a 'bare bones' motel. No comfortable chairs to sit in, laminate flooring, and sparsely decorated if at all. The bathroom was refurbished and looked great, but the rest of the room just felt underwhelming. We weren't expecting a 4 star motel, and it wasn't horrible, but we expected more. The only reason I would stay here again is if we want to travel with our dog, because once again, it is one of the very few places that accommodate pets at our favorite beach location.
