Very expensive pet fee

The hotel property is nice and seemingly well-kept. My main complaint is the very expensive pet fee. We didn’t receive any sort of pet amenity (or even a greeting) to compensate for the very expensive fee. No water bowls, no treats, only a single pet waste dispenser outside by the parking lot. I’ve stayed at plenty of pet-friendly hotels where a substantial fee is charged but at least you receive a water bowl and/or treats to soften the blow of the fee! My small dog weighs less than 15 lbs, is potty trained, doesn’t shed hair and sleeps in his own crate that we travel with. I have yet to understand what a $150 fee for one night included.
