Very dog friendly
Residence Inn by Marriott TuscaloosaThe suite was great.. clean, open, and roomy for us and our fur babies to “spread out” a bit during our stay. Access to outdoor exits (for multiple dog walks) was quick and easy. Would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for pets and their humans!
Very laidback and accessible
Hotel HiveDefinitely a different type of hotel than we’ve ever stayed at. Basically just a bar and restaurant at ground level, that happens to have a few floors of tiny hotel rooms above. As a microtel, *everything* is smaller, tighter, and more “cozy” (stairs, hallways, elevator, etc.) Makes moving around a little more challenging with two medium sized dogs. I found the hallways to be darker than they should have been. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was clean and in good order. The rooftop bar and sitting area was really nice. The pizza restaurant served up an AWESOME pie!!
