Dog fee is high

The outdoor green space is small. There were no bags or trash cans near the green space and others left their droppings in the grass. I brought my own bags and was able to find a trash can near the front entrance (not ideal). The front desk attendant was very pleasant and gave my dog a biscuit at check in. Even though I was aware of the steep $55 dog fee for one night, I expected more dog friendly features. Lastly, we were placed on the third floor which we used the elevator some of the time. The elevator was not smooth running and my dog was anxious once inside. We ended up walking up and down the three flights of stairs rather than using the elevator.
