Pretty good
Drury Inn & Suites West Des MoinesThe good: Lots of space around the hotel to let the pup do his thing. Great breakfast selection. Hot shower. Spacious, quiet, clean. Beds were OK. Easy access to I-35. Not so good: The microwave surface was sticky (not cleaned). Also, we were on the 7th floor, which is fine, but only one of the 2 elevators worked and there were gobs of people in town for a wrestling tournament. The dog fee isn't cheap ($50).
Not great
Drury Inn & Suites San Antonio Northwest Medical CenterThe good: 2 free drinks for adults(!) and good breakfast selection. The not-so-good: We were way up on the 7th floor, the beds were OK but not great, the room seemed small, the fridge had no freezer for our cooler packs (our pup's food needs to be refrigerated), and you can hear I-10 traffic. All in all, not a good value for the price. We will choose a different hotel next time.
Good value!
Candlewood Suites Waco an IHG HotelReasonable pet fee, comfortable beds. The air conditioner rattled, and be aware there is no breakfast included.
Great place!
Comfort Suites Las Cruces I-25 NorthFriendly, good breakfast selection, comfortable beds, and our pup did very well!
So-so
Wyndham Grand Oklahoma City DowntownExpensive, needed to valet park. No breakfast included and no green space to walk the dog.
5 bones!
Home2 Suites by Hilton Des Moines at Drake UniversityWe liked that it was in a quiet neighborhood, so it was easy to step outside and walk our dog. Big parking lot. Would stay here again.
