Can't leave the dog

We stayed here as it was dog friendly and close to the ice hockey rink my daughters tournament was located. The rink was not dog friendly, so the plan was to leave our dog in the room while she played each game and come back in-between. This is how we have traveled with our dog all season long and has worked great. This was the first hotel that made me sign a waiver stating that the dog could not be left in the room alone.

I verbally verified this with the check-in staff and was told that was their policy. I missed every game my daughter played because I had to sit in the car with the dog who couldn't go in the rink and couldn't stay at the hotel alone. It was extremely disappointing and frustrating. Our dog would have been much more comfortable hanging in the hotel room than the back seat of the car. I would have made other accommodation plans if I had known this.

Beyond this, the check-in staff were friendly. The lobby was nice. We were on the second floor and the hallway smelled like a combination of disinfectant spray and marijuana. We booked a king bed suite (so our dog would have a couch to chill on), and the room was larger than expected and clean. I would only stay here again if I wasn't with my dog.

Can bring your dog inside!

This was the only place we could find in February where you can bring your dog inside to eat with you! They don't have a dog menu, but I ordered Raven a hotdog with no bun. She loved it of course! They have dog treats right by the door. Staff are friendly. My Italian sandwich and hot chai latte were great. My daughter got a chocolate chip muffin and strawberry banana smoothie and loved it. We are so thankful to have found this place!
