Great Property

The hotel was great, especially after an 11 hour drive across icy/snowy I-80. Very pet friendly (allows large dogs) and has plenty of areas for walking. My only complaint is that they limit you to two dogs per room. It wasn't a problem for us because we had two rooms and three dogs, but it may be a deal-breaker for other people that don't have that option.

Comfortable

We had booked two pet-friendly rooms well ahead of our stay since they only allow two dogs per room. When we arrived they said they only had one pet-friendly room. They still get four bones because they allowed us to keep all three dogs in the one room. There are some good areas for walking (although they were covered with snow at the time, which puzzled our southern dogs) and some places to go around the hotel. It was a little small and dated but clean and comfortable. We were only there for one night on our trip across the country.

Great Place

We had an extended stay here due to a work relocation and our household goods not being transported for nearly a month after they were supposed to be. It's true that it's a little dated, but it was clean and very comfortable. They had the best pet fee and pet policy of any of the hotels we stayed at during our move. There was easy access to I-90 and I-405 for work so that went into our decision as well.

The breakfast service was great and they even had free laundry room usage which I hardly ever see in hotels these days. They also had a grocery service but we didn't end up using that since the Safeway is literally in walking distance. Not a whole lot of space to walk the dogs because it's hilly, but it was enough for them to do their business and we could have gotten them to a sidewalk not far from there if we needed to.

The staff was always very friendly and helpful. It was a nice counterpoint to the hassle we were dealing with trying to get through the relocation. They had a nice exercise room with some great equipment that we did use. Only reason we even wanted to leave was because our dogs were accustomed to having a yard to run around in and they couldn't do that at any hotel.

The lighting situation in the room was a little subpar because the kitchen light didn't really work and the cookware had seen better days but otherwise the suite was very nice, it was great to have a place to make our own food rather than having to go to restaurants all the time, and the rates were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay for pet owners unless you like being somewhere either more in the center of the city or somewhere farther outside of it.
