Perfect Location & Lodging

Right from when you walk in the front gate, you know it’s a special place. What a gem, and the location is killer. So close to everything and a quick walk over the suspension bridge and you’re in the market. Lots of places to walk our dogs. Incidentally, we were kicked out of an Airbnb after checking in because the owner said our service dog was too big (shepherd). It was absolutely blatant discrimination and shocked us. It was very uncool to be looking for lodging at night, but the lady at BringFido found us this amazing spot. Airbnb didn’t find us a replacement accommodation, and they should have. BringFido came to our rescue and we’re grateful.

Grant at Garlands del Rio happily welcomed us into the hotel, and was extremely kind and personally showed us around and to our room. He’s a real asset to the hotel. Absolutely everyone treated us very respectfully. We are looking forward to coming back when our sons come to visit. We’d 10O% recommend this boutique hotel to everyone.

PS: the king bed was super comfy and like sleeping on a cloud. The pool and bar area was very cool and we appreciated the kitchen available to everyone staying there. Have your morning coffee on the patio by the river, it’s very relaxing. I can’t say enough good things. If a bad experience with Airbnb hadn’t happened, we’d never have experienced such an amazing place.
