Great place
Staybridge Suites West Edmonton an IHG HotelWe brought our cat and small dog with us over the Christmas season. When we checked in they gave us the option to pick the floor we wanted which was nice. Being allowed to leave the fur kids alone in the room was a really great bonus. The room was a great size with a kitchenette, clean and the bed was really nice to sleep on. The complementary breakfast was really great: bacon, eggs, waffles, yogurt, cereal, bread and pastries. Will be staying here again next time we come to Edmonton.
Was not a good experience
Travelodge by Wyndham Edmonton WestWhen we walked into our room, someone was already staying in the room, belongings all over the bed and room. So the front desk offered us another room. When we walked in no one was in the room (luckily) but when we looked in the bathroom the entire shower was taken apart for repair, parts all over the bathroom. Once again back to the front desk to get yet another room. Third room was again small and was dirty. There was (animal?) feces or food smeared on the walls, floors were dirty and long hairs wrapped around the phone. We didn't take our shoes off the whole time. Very thin walls with noisy doors and hallways made it even harder to sleep on the hard bed as well as put my dog on edge with the noises. The animal area outside was nice and big with agility equipment, about the only positive thing during our stay.
