Excellent Northbound I-81 Stop
Comfort Suites Cicero - Syracuse NorthGreat value pet-friendly spot with good green space, decent breakfast, comfy large, and convenient room. $25 pet fee isn't the highest. It still feels high when the pet is a quiet, clean, non-shedding 10 lb Yorkshire Terrier.

Comfort Inn Blacksburg University AreaGreat room. Great area for pets and humans. We also found the restaurant next door (Mariachi) is better than their reviews.

Motel 6 Binghamton NYGood plain comfortable room. No "extras" but perfect for an older couple traveling with a small dog.

Comfort Inn Riviere-Du-LoupExcellent value. Great room for two people with a pet. Close to lovely and dog friendly Parc de la Pointe along the St. Lawrence shore in Riviere du Loup.

Comfort Inn Highway 401Good value for money. Excellent breakfast options included. Dogs and their people are on the second floor, which may make it difficult for some as there is no elevator.
