Unexpected great park

SpokAnimal Dog Park at High Bridge

Dogs loved this park, the small dog park is really small and there is no water available for the dogs, however right next to it, almost seemingly hidden, is the large dog park. This is by far the nicer of the two. It is very large and has more shading and more seating with a Pavillion to provide shade and there is a hose for fresh water (not sure if it's winterized, I visited in september). There isn't much grass, but the area is very spacious with lots of trees.

Some areas are VERY steep, somewhat nerve wracking coming down if you've gone up. The owner clean up was moderate. I always anticipate to see some dog piles not cleaned up at any park, but this was slightly worse than just a few.

There is no shaded parking which stinks.

Overall, worth a visit if you're in the area, pretty well frequented when I went.

Fantastic Dog Park

Gallatin County Regional Park

HUGE dog park, one of the nicest I have ever visited nationwide. Nice defined walking paths qith lots of grassy spots for your dog. They have a pond with a dock for dock jumping. The park was well maintained, really limited areas where owners didn't clean up (I always expect a few at any park). Lots of parking, both on street and the parking lot, lots of different entrances and exits into the park.

Very friendly dogs when I went and visited. Open 24 hours a day, I went with beautiful weather, so no comments on rainy or snowy weather.

The ONLY downside is there is no source of clean water for dogs, so be sure to bring your dog water bottles with you! Otherwise a must see park

Narrow park

Canine Corners Dog Park at Searls Park

So, I elected to pay the $8 fee for a one day pass, however there is no guard or anything to swipe or scan. Essentially, you can get into the park without buying a pass, however I never mind supporting dog parks so I was glad to do so. Fyi only for other travelers.

There are two parks, I went in the first one I came upon but they are across the road from one another. They weren't labeled for small or big dogs but given that the big dogs went in the other one we assumed we were in the small dog park.

It's long a narrow but still very spacious. There is seating in the shade which is always a plus. Lots of water sources (no idea if winterized because we came in august). And little kiddie pools to fill up which was nice for our one dog who enjoys that.

There were no other dogs in our section when we went which was a huge bummer. 4 big dogs in the other section.

Recently mowed and well maintained. Would visit again if in the area, wish it was more populated.

Too many mosquitos which is to be expected with the partially filled stagnant water in the pools

Go to the Love's across the street

TA Santa Nella

This was not a dog friendly spot. There was a small section of grass (not fenced in) with a doggie bag + trash can (the green pole ones you see everywhere) and that was it. In my opinion, if you are going to claim to be a dog friendly truck stop, you need a small fenced in area, not just one singular clean up station. However, there is a love's truck stop literally right across the street that DOES have a mini dog park and that was worth the stop.

2 bones because at least it had waste disposal and it wasn't disgusting.
