Good location

The hotel was nice however, they were undergoing renovations (February 2023) which had I known, I would have never booked this hotel. There was debris everywhere in the lobby area, not suitable for a dog to walk on. It’s hard to rate a hotel when renovations prevent you from seeing the restaurant bar or other facilities. We were put in another wing across the hall from the hotel laundry facilities to avoid the construction noise but the employees were loud and the constant beeping from the washers and dryers disturbed our sleep. That being said, the hotel was perfectly situated near the water and there were plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. The rooms were clean and had a large armoire and a closet for luggage storage. Beds were comfortable Parking is valet only (very expensive) Surprisingly, this section of Savannah was not too dog friendly. I think once the hotel is finished with their improvements, it would be a good place to stay.
