Not happy with our check-in!
Best Western Annawan InnLoved that this hotel was quiet and clean with a decent area to take the dog out to the bathroom. What my negative was is that the man at the desk asked for my drivers license and credit card - he took down all of the info from both!! With all of the scammers these days, if my account becomes compromised or my identity stolen, I can assure you that I will be going after them!! I have never had that happen before! NOT happy about that!
Adequate
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Des Moines West CliveThe room was “ok”, ours was missing a hair dryer and had all kinds of mismatched shampoos, soaps, etc. & our door to our room did not lock, my husband had to work on it to get it to lock. The dog walk area was pathetic, very small and dirty and there was garbage all around the doors that you had to walk through to get to the only spot of grass behind the hotel, by the dumpsters. They put us right next to the lobby so our dog heard every noise of people coming and going and it was impossible to get him to settle down for the night because of all the noise. The only good thing was the breakfast which was excellent! I would not recommend, the Country Inn & Suits next door appeared to be much nicer and better kept up.
Excellent!!
Best Western Plus York Hotel & Conference CenterPerfect place to stay with a pet!! Pet rooms were in a quiet wing, near the dog walk area that was huge & quiet with a dog waste station right by the door. Everyone there was pleasant & helpful & friendly! I only wish that the rooms had vinyl or hardwood floors instead of carpeting. It was fantastic having a very good restaurant connected to the lobby of the hotel too! The lobby was clean, spacious & nicely appointed with sofa & chairs & a fireplace. Best place we stayed with our dog on our trip!
