Great Food and Atmosphere
Fratello’s Ristorante & PizzeriaThey have a lot of open patio space for you and your pups. Most of the space is shaded. Water bowls are also available. I ate here for lunch and highly recommend the Italian panini with tomato basil soup.
Great Location and Great Food
Green Pickle GrillStopped by this place on our way home from Dinosaur Valley SP. Shaded outdoor eating areas. The staff is very friendly! They brought bowls of water for my two pups. I had the fried green pickles and cheeseburger - both were delicious! I really enjoyed how juicy the burger was. Next time I go back, I have to try one of their pies.
Impeccable Service!
Julian Beer CompanyThey go above and beyond to make your doggos feel welcome! We were all tired and overheated after hiking that morning, and the staff seated us in a quiet, air conditioned area to enjoy our lunch. They gave the pups their own pitcher of water, which was very considerate! I can’t say enough good things about the people and food here! I had the reuben and one of their beers on tap - Anatomical Blonde (a German lager). Both were delicious! I am a huge fan of the Julian Beer Co. for the way they bent over backwards for us.
Fabulous!
Julian GrilleThey have a beautiful cottage garden dining area with plenty of shade and space for the dogs to relax at your table. There is a separate menu for the pups to order their own food - Holly recommends the hamburger patty. I had the jalapeño ravioli for a starter, and the turkey/Swiss on sourdough and sweet walnut salad for lunch. All of the food was delicious!
Dogs Feel Welcome!
La Quinta by Wyndham Las Cruces Organ MountainGreat hotel that is very close to I-10, gas stations, and restaurants. The dog relief area is very well maintained and spacious. The dog friendly rooms are either on the ground floor or are near a stairway. Even with other dogs on the property, our room was soundproofed enough that we didn't hear anyone else.
Wonderful Staff and Great Location
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham College StationThe hotel is located in the heart of College Station with easy access to A&M, restaurants, and other places including golf courses. The staff was fantastic and very helpful, and I would give them 5 bones if I could.
The reason I rate this La Quinta 3 bones - The overall property is run down and unkempt. Outside trash cans were overflowing. There was no cold (yep, I said cold) water, which made taking a shower miserable. The room was generally clean, but the safety chain was missing on the door, a couple of lamps were missing light bulbs, and it looked like they had painted over a previous mold problem.
Perfect Location!
Queen Wilhelmina State Park LodgeMy lab and I stayed the weekend at the lodge. The meals from the restaurant were delicious and the room was very modern and comfortable. Plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy such as hiking, swimming, fishing, etc. This lodge is atop Rich Mountain and the views are spectacular!
Beautiful View and Tasty Eats
Cane River Bar & GrillPlenty of outdoor seating overlooking the river. A couple of tables are not shaded and offer more room to spread out. The shaded seating area can get a little crowded. The staff was very nice and courteous. Many of the patrons were dog lovers and showered my grrl with affection. The food was tasty! I enjoyed their fried catfish, shrimp, hush puppies and gator balls. For dessert, I recommend the chocolate chip pie. Mom loved their bread pudding. Consider asking for vanilla ice cream instead of the whipped cream for the pie.
Beautiful View
The PointThe Point offers a lovely view of Lake Worth. Plenty of shaded outdoor seating, with many tables alongside the yard so the dogs can relax on grass rather than concrete. Janet brought my pupper cold water without ice. I enjoyed the fried catfish plate, apple pie and vanilla ice cream. All of it was delicious! I recommend going early for lunch. I arrived at noon and was one of two tables. By 12:30, the place was packed! I'll be visiting again.
