Great place to stay
Hampton Inn HendersonvilleNice, well-organized and clean hotel and rooms, run by knowledgeable and friendly staff that clearly love dogs. Even non dog guests were friendly and often inquisitive of our Old English Sheepdog. Highly recommend!

Old rooms
Clarion Pointe Wake Forest Raleigh NorthFriendly staff, and hotel was indeed animal friendly. Unfortunately, due to a lack of carpeting anywhere in the hotel, including rooms, literally any human movement or chatter in the hallways outside of the rooms had our dog on high alert and barking. I finally managed to calm down our pup by stuffing a bathroom towel under the room door. Additionally, roughly half the room outlets were not live and the bathroom light switch was falling out of the broken sheetrock. Finally, the toilet seat was extremely loose on the unit but I was able to resolve it myself using tools from my vehicle. We really liked the room décor and found the bed very comfortable. I think this is a case of doing a lot of things right but missing the details that can adversely affect your stay. Perhaps we might have just gotten a well-worn room.
