My dog is small. So if you have big dogs you might find the room too small. But for us it was perfect. A great bed with cotton sheets, a simple bathroom. Everything updated to be clean and modern. And the price can’t be beat. My only small criticism: the walk-in shower is perfect except the shower curtain needs weights or something at the bottom. It just wanted to sweep into the shower and touch me. But that’s not enough to keep me from visiting this gem of a motel whenever I’m passing through!

Good news: got the end room near the outside, stairs to outside carpeted, part of room remodeled (new bath vanity, mirror and floor, old tub and shower). Not so good: breakfast, water pressure.

For whatever reason we got a better price ($94) on this one than other La Quintas. Front staff was friendly and I enjoyed seeing many dogs in the dining room.

The first thing we loved was the price. $93 for two queens plus pet fee which I think was about $25. But this was possibly the best pet-friendly hotel we’ve stayed at. We were on the 3rd floor but they put pet rooms at the end of the hall so the stairs to outside are right there. Then, outside you have a beautiful area with trees and complimentary poop bags. There was lots of space to walk around the building to let puppy explore. The hotel seemed to be either new or newly remodeled. And the room was comfortable with a large fridge and very sound proof which is important in a pet friendly place. I always felt totally welcome walking right through the lobby with my pup. We actually went for the king bed which was a $5 upgrade for $98. But the place was better than ones we’ve spent $160 on. Don’t know if we’ll ever be in the area again but I’d totally stay there again and recommend.
