The location of the Comfort Suites Southport Oak Island was fantastic. Quick easy drive to both Southport and/or Oak Island. The pet area was great once you got to it - nice large grassy area. There was a lot of sand/loose dirt between the hotel and the pet area. Clean room & hot breakfast.

Absolutely the best vacation with our pups! The potty area was fenced in, lit up and well maintained. The location was perfect. The back of the hotel butts right up to the River Walk and the front of the hotel has beautiful views of downtown. Our room had wonderful views of the river and the sunsets. We were able to walk downtown where there are many pet-friendly places to dine and shop. The atmosphere in Wilmington, NC is very, very, very pet friendly. We will definitely be returning in the future!

River Terrace Resort & Convention Center was absolutely amazing. Pups were greeted at check in and every time we passed through the lobby the clerks would say "Tobi and Rudy." We stayed in Building 7 on the 5th Floor. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. With the microwave and fridge we were able to store and prepare our pups breakfast and dinner easily. We would highly recommend River Terrace. It was super pup friendly!
