I have one dog. I would like to take him with us when we travel.

Ok for pets but smells like cigarettes and they have an ant problem.

Best Western Shepherdsville

First off, the woman at the front desk was very kind and welcoming. I have no complaints at all with the staff. I had booked a non-smoking room and again confirmed with the lady at the front desk that our room would be non-smoking. She said that all the rooms were non-smoking. This was not the case. The hallway and our room reeked of cigarette smoke. I could hardly sleep and had to put my face mask on all night. The smell of cigarettes was strong throughout the hotel. As far as bringing the dog, it was fine. The hotel was very nice about dogs. In the morning, I woke up and there were 5 or 6 little bugs crawling on my bed. I screamed and jumped out of bed and we (my family) examined the bed and found out they in fact were not bed bugs (Thank goodness!), but instead ants. That was enough, it was 6:30 am and we left as fast as we could.

Loved this Hotel!

DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Lexington

Loved this hotel. The staff was amazing. Our room (queen suite) was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Upon our arrival, our dog, a 75 pound GSP was welcomed with treats and nice compliments. We really liked the hotel theme (New Orleans ). The atrium was friendly and there was even a nice area to sit with our dog as we enjoyed the wonderful entertainment (Magnolia Vale) and had a drink from the bar. Loved everything about this visit. There is a ample grassy area in the back of the hotel to take your dog. I felt very safe in the grassy area because they keep that part of the parking area locked. All in all, great place to enjoy a night with your dog and family.
