Poor management
Days Inn by Wyndham GlasgowI needed to cancel and the manager told me I was "not intelligent enough to understand how being a manager is." He gave the run around and blamed Expedia. To top it off, he told me did not have the number to Expedia because it was like the hotline to president Biden and only he was entitled to have access to it. Corporate Wyndham was very shocked at his behavior. Needless to say, if you have a complaint with this man and his hotel, reach out to corporate. His generic responses to pacify reviews will not fix how he is running his business under a large corporate.
Wasn’t terrible
Baymont by Wyndham PaducahRun down and desperately needs updating and repair. Newer staff and unfortunately she messed up our second room. But plenty of space to walk the dog.
Terrible
Super 8 by Wyndham West MemphisI booked 2 non smoking rooms. We ended up getting one of them as smoking. So yes it stunk. The mattresses were horrid! Big indents and leaned back toward the headboard. The bathrooms were nasty and unkept. Don’t even get me started on the staff. Kimberly checked us in, and we don’t think she wanted us to interrupt the show she was watching on TV. Not a smile. Not a greeting, not a thank you!
Then come 9pm, there was a dog that kept barking. I let it go past 10, past 11, past 12. Nothing was done about this dogs out of control barking. So at 12:30am, I went to the front desk. The woman there was so busy on her phone, she couldn’t be bothered to look up and acknowledge I was there. The gentleman looked at me and asked what room. How was I supposed to know what room? The walls, ceilings and floors are paper thin! He responded “at least someone else said something because they all think I just complain about stuff here." Apparently there were other complaints about this guy leaving his dog alone all night, yet nothing was done because staff complained but not guests?!?
My advice? Don’t bother staying here. They don’t care about the guests, the cleanliness, nor the environment you are staying in! A complete disappointment.
Cleaning needs some help
La Quinta by Wyndham Cincinnati SharonvilleThere were cobwebs along the ceiling and the baseboards. There was some hair in the shower. And no toilet paper on the roll. Pool was out of order. You can tell that the hotel features were updated but the staff needs some extra direction on the cleaning. At least the room didn’t smell like dog, like other Fido friendly rooms I’ve stayed in. The staff, however, was very friendly.
