All good, off-leash park nearby
Home2 Suites by Hilton Salt Lake City EastWhen we checked in for our one-night stay, we still had plenty of sunlight, so I checked Maps for nearby dog parks. Turns out there's one very close, though it's on the other side of the highway, so it does require an 8 minute drive to get there. Anyway, it was a good place for some exercise after a long day on the road. And everything with the hotel was good.

A Great Stop!
Candlewood Suites Kearney an IHG HotelWhen there's no snow on the ground, this spot offers lots of adjacent grass, including a BIG field right new door. I was able to let my dog off leash and throw a ball for her for half an hour, providing needed exercise after a long day in the car. There's also a dog walk spot on the hotel grounds that serves well for short outings. I have stayed here twice now and it will be on my list for the future as well.
