Great Location...Spacious room.
SpringHill Suites by Marriott Richmond North/Glen AllenGreat Room - very spacious. Great front desk people....we had intended to go much farther south, but the weather gods had a different idea and we made reservation at last minute. Gentleman who checked us in gave us a great work-around to avoid Richmond and made recommendations on food and drink in the area.

Close to DC
Candlewood Suites Washington-Fairfax an IHG HotelI have rated solely on its proximity to DC. We had a considerable wait to check-in because the hotel is understaffed. We were not told where the dog walking areas were. No breakfast or other food. We were told there were lots of restaurants in area but nothing else. There are other hotels close by, so we will stay somewhere else next time.

Ok for one night
TownePlace Suites by Marriott Gainesville NorthwestRooms were very worn and in need of refurbishment. Carpet was particularly worn and patched with tape. Desk person was not welcoming and made no effort to tell us where we could take the dog safely in the dark. Breakfast was okay but they were not ready for the 6am diners. Outlets by the beds were not functional.
