Our dog was welcomed on porch and we were given a choice of tables for her to feel comfortable. Waitstaff brought her water and a restaurant made treat. Our food was great (tuna Asian salad and shrimp and grits) except for coffee. It was instant. If I had known I would not have gotten it. And bananas foster wasn’t what I expected- more just ice cream, bananas and caramel sauce.

Lovely well marked trails and water to lay down - all the things that make her happy!

The water fall and ponds in back are beautiful. We got a first floor room just like we asked for and breakfast was good.

At first they had us on the 4th floor. They were not able to get us the 1st floor we asked for but the 2nd floor near the steps worked okay. There are no close restaurants but we got a good night’s sleep.

They did fine for an over night and bath. Our dog is happy and clean at pick up. The ticks are bad in the dog park. We pulled off 5 or 6 before taking her in and they pulled off another 3 during bath.

We got a call after making reservations that no one queen bed were available would we pay $10 more for a 2 double bed room. I said ok but when we arrived there was only one truck in the lot. Also charged $5 and change to card without saying anything as a “card use fee." Also the air/fan woke me up at 5am with a high pitched whistle that would not stop until we turned it off. Biggest NRA life time membership plaque I have ever seen in lobby; those things make me nervous, but may not be a problem for others. Orange juice was also less than fresh and coffee was weak. It was clean and the back area was nice for walking the dog. They did call us when we forgot leash in our hurry to leave.

Lovely walk around the park - nice to be away from traffic.

Room didn’t have carpet, nice for cleaning but noisy when our pup walked around at night. Had to park at a meter and get up early enough to put money in the morning. Staff was very nice and room was clean and well appointed, except there was no coffee cups and a maker that required a cup.

They put us on the 4th floor. Our dog did not like the elevator. There was a robbery at the local Subway; y we unfortunately witnessed the getaway through the hotel parking lot and added talking to the police to our late night. The park down and across the road was nice.

They charged us $30 more than on reservation. Lots of smokers on shared porches, place stinks of beer. Table below our room was covered in empty beer cans. Only one windows opened - the one above the beer cans. The flowers were still lovely.
