Not so pet friendly

Booked here even though farther out from my destination because they are pet friendly. The manager sternly told me that I wasn't allowed to bring dog, Golden Retriever, into front entrance/lobby & that I could only use side/back door. He said it's their "policy." I didn't see that in their policy. He looked at my Golden with disdain. Obviously, he doesn't like dogs but why be so rude with paying customers. My Golden is a certified Canine Good Citizen & trained ESA dog for Divine Canines in Austin. We spend weekends providing emotional support to people in nursing homes & rehab facilities. I'm 59 years old and didn't appreciate being spoken to like a second class citizen.
