Exceeded Expectations
My Place Hotel - Council Bluffs/Omaha East IANever heard of the chain and I was very skeptical based on the price point and low pet fee. It was nicer than the DoubleTree we paid three times as much for the night prior. Our pup was greeted and offered a milk bone. We were treated well. 24/7 coffee was good. This place represented the franchise well and I will look for more in future travels. My only knock is that the bed was really soft. If you need a firm mattress, your pup may sleep better than you.
Beautiful, easy stroll
Mendocino Coast Botanical GardensThis place is well worth a visit if you are in the area. Great gardens, great ocean views, and great to pups. Nice way to spend a morning before picking our way down the coast.
Pleasant Surprise
La Quinta by Wyndham FlagstaffI have never had a good experience at a La Quinta, but I placed my faith in the others who have given rave reviews and was rewarded. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, The rooms were spacious and clean. The price point was outstanding for those features. There isn’t a great place to walk the dog, but there is space to walk the dog. The breakfast isn’t great and the coffee was awful, but again, I recognized that I saved a lot of money for a room that was every bit as good as the room I am in tonight for three times the price. So I had instant oatmeal and went out and grabbed a better cup of Joe. I’d come back again if in the area.
Outstanding Property
The Coho Oceanfront LodgeWe had originally booked for one night. After driving from Maine to Oregon, we took a look at the room and the view and asked about adding two more nights. They were kind to my pup. They were kind to us. Breakfast was solid. The rooms were clean. Great spot. We’ll stay again for sure!
Can’t Give a Zero
Pelican BrewingAfter being seated, we waited 15 minutes without being offered a drink or a bowl of water for the pup. I told my wife to pick a number between 1 and 100. she chose 57. I counted up to 57 and back. When I hit zero, we left. No beer for us. no water for the pup. The beer may be great. The food may be great. I’ll never know the service is so poor.
You get what you pay for
Best Western Lee's Motor InnThe rooms are small and I am 99.9-percent sure my queen bed was a double. The room was small, cramped, and moderately clean. It was Memorial Day weekend and we booked last-minute to serve as a launching pad for a visit to Badlands. Set your sights as low as the price and you should be okay.
Great Spot
Greys River Cove RV ParkYour shower and bathroom at home should be this clean. Seriously immaculate. This is a great launching pad for Grand Teton NP and the surrounding national forests. Conveniences in every direction. Quiet despite its location relative to the highway. Everyone leashed their pups. Very well done. Changed my perspective on tenting at an RV campground.
Great Spot, Great People
Snug Harbor Bar and GrillThe staff and people are amazingly friendly. It is definitely the locals’ spot. Respect it accordingly and you too will be treated like a local. The rooftop is a great spot!
Great property
Hampton Inn & Suites La Crosse DowntownGreat staff and an immaculate property. They placed us at the end of the hall close to the exit and away from other guests opening and closing doors. They treated our pup like a celebrity when she walked through the doors. They care about their pup guests like they are part of their guests' families.
