No dogs on beds
Best Western Alexandria InnThe hotel is wonderful, if you're a human. They say they are pet friendly, however since they semi remodeled they charge more and don't allow pets on the beds. If hair is found on the beds after your stay, they charge you an extra cleaning fee.

Beautiful, peaceful
Central Lakes TrailMy pup and I went for a walk today on the Central Lakes trail from Lake Brophy. It was beautiful, and very peaceful. The trail was busy with other walkers, bikers, runners, and families with their pets. We made a couple new doggo friends along the way. Plenty of shade, as well as benches and places to stop for a water break and rest. Also the park has a public beach that we stopped by to cool off in the lake after our walk. Can't wait to go back.
