Visit Crater Lake
Crater Lake National ParkCrater Lake is an amazing stop. There are many dog-friendly areas around the lake for short stops and a walk out to the edge to see different angles of Crater Lake.
Amazing trail
Deschutes River TrailWe agree with Laura and KA, lots of beautiful plants and landscapes, and the trail to amazing and allows for as long or as short of a walk as you want/need. There're at least 2 dog parks, one on land and the other in the water for the dogs wanting to splash around.
Beautiful, gorgeous, amazing
International Rose Test GardenSuch a beautiful walk amongst all the different roses, and an amazing sniff fest for dogs. By weaving in and around the rose beds dogs can go on a long walk without having to walk back to the car so far away.
Dogs can't pick berries
Montavon's BerriesAlthough dogs can not go into the field to pick berries, there is an area to tether them in the shade where they can get some water.
Comfortable Hotel
Best Western Plus Tree HouseConvenient to back into spaces, but not so convenient with climbing stairs to room.
Love it!
LOGE BendFirst, we're used to camping so this was a step up on the amenities while incorporating our love of the outdoors. We did not partake in the equipment borrowing this visit - but intend to in the future. We enjoyed grilling outdoors and playing Jenga. The happy hour and s'mores kits were great touches. We will definitely stay here again!
Hotel with great views
Best Western Plus Columbia River InnGet the river view room - it had amazing views. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast, but a free breakfast is offered at the restaurant next door.
Great Location!
Embassy Suites Portland/Hillsboro OregonStaff was very nice. The breakfast was amazing We would stay here again.
Wouldn't stay here again
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham NewportThe hotel is on the south end of town over the bridge. The hallways and rooms had an off-putting smell that just permeated everywhere, except the lobby. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. The pet rules include no pets on the beds.
Nice stay
Best Western Holiday HotelOlder hotel but no complaints. Walking distance from many things. Definitely try Shark Bites.
Decent, clean hotel
Best Western Heritage InnClose to I-5. Breakfast was a decent selection. The pet area is artificial turf, and relatively small for larger dogs. Noisy A/C unit. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. We stayed during the summer so crickets were everywhere.
Great Location
McMenamins Old St. Francis SchoolThe location is great. The outdoor patio is beautiful. They are pet friendly. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either.
Yummy!
SharkBite's CafeFriendly staff, awesome food. Seating is available with Fido indoors. The food was good.
Great Location, Good Food
Thunder Island Brewing CoGood food, a great place for Fido to lie under the table. The staff was amazing, with both human and pet guests. They brought Fido water when they brought us ours.
Amazing Food & Location
Cafeteria 15LGreeted us with water for all humans and the dog. The food was excellent. It was a warm day - but there were coolers outdoors that made it comfortable.
Great Food!
Yaks ShackThe food was fantastic! All seating is outside, where dogs are allowed. It's more of a 'shack' or 'food truck' type establishment, so you order and pick up your own food. The food was delicious! There is no one to serve you or your dog or clearing your table. You bus your own table when you're done - but it's a matter of putting small trays into a bin outside. Would definitely eat here again!
