Unsafe and Dirty

Unfortunately, this is not a safe location and management is negligent. Upon arriving at the hotel at around 9pm I was followed through the parking lot by a man who blocked me from entering the hotel door and intimidated me for about ten minutes while I was locked in my car. When my husband told the manager and requested a refund for our unused night, the manager refused to issue us a refund. This was before checkout time, 11am, for our second night. He told us we would have needed a police report or 24 hours notice. Luckily, I was able to avoid being assaulted so I didn’t have a police report. Then he said if we filed a complaint with corporate he would issue us our single night refund, so we called and filed a report and then he changed his mind and is refusing to issue us our single night refund. We are still working with corporate to get our refund.

In addition to the safety concerns, there were several long curly black hairs stuck in the towels as well as mold visible in the little water nozzles in the shower head. The parking is fine and grassy area for the dogs was fine but not worth the drawbacks. I’m a very no-frills traveler and I would absolutely not stay here. Ladies, bring your pepper spray.
