Not very dog friendly

The deadbolt on the door not usable. Looks like someone messed with it and cannot lock it with a key. Several slats on the window shutters broken. Screw missing on the stove control knob cover plate. Disappointed because recommended as dog friendly. No dog bowl, treats, bed; nothing dog friendly. Not even a designated area for a dog to relieve itself. Was gifted this trip by our kids for 49th anniversary and special request to acknowledge was included with booking. No bottle of wine or chocolates. Cost of hotel considerably more than what was advertised on Fido. On the positive, room clean and comfortable. Great view of the ocean and balcony very nice. Continental breakfast included which was appreciated. Twenty minute walk to the beach. Have not decided if I would stay here again. So many great looking hotels here in Carmel.
