I have a 16 yr old golden retriever, and she goes everywhere with me. So having restaurants and other venues that are dog friendly is very important. If dogs are not welcome, I'm not going!

Very dog friendly, and there's plenty of outside seating
Brigantine Seafood & Oyster BarHot Dog and I love going here during the Sun-Fri happy hour, from 3P to 6P. Staff brings out a bowl of water for my pooch, and I share the reasonably priced sliders, calamari etc with her.

Generally a dog friendly place
Coronado Brewing CompanyCBC is basically a dog friendly place. During the Covid crisis, my Golden and I were welcome when they opened back up. However one of the managers, the owner's daughter, was rather crass when dealing with my Golden, complaining that she was shedding, and was disturbing other patrons. Be advised this a geriatric dog, at the time 13 years old, currently 16. Rather rude of the daughter of the owner...
I no longer frequent the establishment, especially when right across the street is Mike Hess, who are super-friendly towards dogs!

Mike Hess in IB is super dog friendly!
Mike Hess BrewingHot Dog, my golden retriever is the de facto mascot of Mike Hess in IB. All the staff love her! One Halloween she won the dog costume contest!
