Cold shower
Staybridge Suites Chicago-Oakbrook Terrace an IHG HotelRun don’t walk to a different hotel. No hot water in morning to shower with, hair dryer in room not working, and outside area for pets dirty with trash/and discarded food. Hotel is generally run down and rather seedy. Only good thing was the breakfast. Difficult checkout because they couldn’t get computer working. Wanted to put me on 3rd floor, which is not convenient to getting pet outside, They did move me to ground level but key card wasn’t working on door closest to outside. I actually would give this place -1 bones.

Nice, clean, and relatively quiet
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham ClarionOne of the better places I have stayed. Area to walk dog is small but other adjacent areas are fairly well lit.

Only Choice
Abbot Trailside LodgingNeeded a place near Dexter, this was the choice. The room was nice, but never received access code and had to call to receive. The place is set up for ATV-ers, so was quite noisy. There were outside porch lights that were on all night and shown into room.

Hampton Inn Youngstown BoardmanRoom clean, staff nice, but didn’t know where the dog walking area was. Also expensive.

Convenient location
Comfort Inn Civic CenterNo specific place to walk pets, but some green areas. Fairly close walking paths too. Hotel staff friendly.
