Clean and convenient
Baymont by Wyndham South HavenVery nice room, very clean. Great breakfast. $15 per dog, per night (2 dog max, I think) is very reasonable! They are definitely dog friendly as we saw several other dogs. Close to downtown South Haven which had a lot of places that welcomed our doggie.

Very nice!
Baymont by Wyndham St Ignace LakefrontThe hotel was clean, and staff was friendly, and accommodating. Included breakfast was yummy. Understandably, dogs are not permitted in breakfast area or pool, and dogs cannot be left unattended in room. It’s close to the ferry with free day parking. I recommend Molly Moo’s for ice cream! We had a hard time finding dog friendly dinner places, but that was mostly due to poor planning on my part. BC Pizza came through with free delivery and pretty good menu selection. Hotel is right on the lake with a beautiful view! My kid and my dog had lots of fun in the water.

Nice outdoor patio
Hopscotch Brick Oven and TaproomThis place was recommended by our hotel. Large, cute outdoor patio. Water dish available for the dog. Great service, great food. We both loved what we ordered- spirit free blood orange creamsicle, pulled pork sandwich, and brisket sandwich. I would recommend this place, and would return if I’m back in Traverse City.

Dog friendly
South Haven BrewpubSmall (3 tables) separate outdoor seating for groups with dogs. We were seated right away. You order at the bar and food is brought out to you. Burger was okay. Fries were good. Pub Mac with pulled pork was very good. Boom boom shrimp was delicious! I noticed water bowls at the other dog friendly tables. There was not one at ours, but I have no doubt they would have brought water for my dog if I asked. They brought her a frozen pup cup which helped keep her occupied. I recommend this for a yummy and dog friendly meal. I’ll go back if I’m in South Haven again (with or without my dog).

Clean!
Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Traverse CityWe enjoyed our stay. We slept late so can’t comment on the breakfast. We and our dog were greeted warmly with a little treat bag for the doggie. Our room was very clean! The whole place was, really. The receptionist gave a great suggestion for dinner (dog friendly), and local fun things to do during our brief stay. There is a nice bike path just behind the parking lot. Highly recommend! I’d stay there again.
