Terrible experience
La Quinta by Wyndham GuthrieWe checked in late, about 11pm. There was food left in the fridge and a black sticky stain on the carpet. I went down to get some things out of my car and wanted to tell the front desk person about the room however I could not find anyone. Since it was late I chose to deal with it. However two days later my credit card company contacted me and said that there was an additional $250 charge on my account when I called La Quinta to ask why I was told that one of the housekeepers said the room smelled like smoke. I am a non-smoker and when I asked if they checked any of the adjoining rooms they said no. Hopefully the dispute with my credit card company will go well but this is a awful hotel with horrible customer service.
