Parking lot beer bashes
La Quinta by Wyndham Raleigh CaryIf you want a quiet place to stay with your pet, this isn't it. Questionable security and management perfectly willing to allow guests to hang out in the beds of their pickup trucks drinking beer and throwing trash in the parking lot.

Great location, clean, nice staff
Red Roof Inn Raleigh North-Crabtree Mall/PNC ArenaWhile we expect a clean hotel and room at a reasonable rate, the friendliness of the staff is what really makes the difference. Enjoyed my stay and will be back.

Fabulous location, difficult dog owners
Beech Mountain Bark ParkAs a resort area, we have a number of dog owners passing thru. I had heard from local owners that they had problems with aggressive dogs, unvaccinated dogs and rude owners. Experienced that, and as a warning, go during non-peak hours. Evenings are the worst.
