Decent stay
Quality Inn Peru Near Starved Rock State ParkHotel is showing signs of age and a not so qualified maintenance staff. Most of the fix-it repairs look like a novice DIY job. Our dog loved the huge grassy area. Lots of room to run and play but bring your own poop bags as they are not supplied. Overall just a pretty okay hotel for the right price.

Friendly staff
Best Western Lee's Motor InnStaff was friendly. Room was old but adequate. Not much grass for dogs. Had to walk around to the back side where there was a small grassy area by street parking.

Small rooms
La Quinta by Wyndham ButteHotel was nice but the rooms were small. With two queen beds there was barely enough room to walk around. Zero room for a dog to play. Beds were quite high and my mini schnauzer could not jump up. Lots of grass and a park down the hill.
