Dog friendly stay

We had a wonderful stay. We did pay for the pet upgrade which according to the site said a dog bed, food and water bowls, and a welcome packet. We were informed that they did not have any beds available. So they just slept on the carpet. They had no bowls so they gave us two metal from the kitchen. We luckily brought our own collapsible water bowl for hiking. So we made due. We also got some poop bags and milkbone biscuits. I would probably bring all my own stuff next time but the one time pet fee was nice compared to a daily rate. The room was lovely though. The a/c automatically reverts back to its presets so we had to keep turning it back down when we would get back.

Overall it served the purpose we needed it for. Staff was friendly and attentive when we needed them. They do have a virtual assistant to communicate though so there was no information provided in room about wifi or phone to call down. Good location. Self park was a block away so a bit of a walk to get our car but it was nice that you can add $15 daily fee with in and out privileges. They have a small pet relief area around back of the building but you have to exit through the front so it can be a walk. We were fortunate to be diagonal from the community center which did have grass but most everywhere else was concrete around the building. Fort Wayne does have a lot of beautiful parks. There were two restaurants, service was slower but the food was good. Overall I would recommend.
