HORRIFIC Vet! BEWARE! Stay far AWAY!!!

We have been bringing our fur babies here for 25 years! The former vet was great. He has retired & sold his practice to this new company. They are ridiculously overpriced & RUDE!!! The vet is the WORSE of the WORSE!!! Our last encounter was HORRIFIC! Other than her having a dreadful bedside manner, we were subjected to her snide remarks. Our fur baby had an infection in her mouth. I asked the Dr. about an antibiotic. Her quick, disagreeable response was, and I quote, “What’s the point”. Our little angel needed having several teeth pulled & cleaned as well as being told she has a fractured jaw. We tried to explain to her that when our baby was spayed, she had a very, very difficult time with pain. We wanted to know how she was going to manage post-op pain. She said, “I have no idea as to what meds were given to her or what drugs were used to anesthetize her”. I said, “What about looking in her chart. All her records for the past 10 years are there & documented with which drugs were used”. She replied, “I guess I could”. She NEVER did! We wanted to proceed with the surgery immediately, as our fur baby was in pain & had an infection. When it came to scheduling the surgery, we were told there was nothing available for 2 weeks. As for the third week, we were told that the surgery schedule was not made & we would have to wait for the vet tech to call us with a date. This NEVER happened! We called EVERY day requesting to talk with the tech. She NEVER returned our calls! Who lets a precious 2 pound, 11.5-year-old senior dog in pain, suffer for that long?!!! We brought our angel to Spruce Creek Animal Clinic. This group was more than accommodating; they got us in the very next day. After a thorough exam, the vet sat down and spent quite some time explaining everything in detail and putting our minds at ease. All of our questions & concerns were addressed. We were never rushed or made to feel uncomfortable. The doctor administered an antibiotic for the infection. Our angel’s surgery was scheduled 3 days later. It would have been sooner; but, it was a Friday when we brought her in. The surgery went smoothly. The doctor personally called us as soon as it was over. She told us that all 6 remaining teeth were quite loose & were extracted. Her mouth was thoroughly cleaned & the infection was addressed. As for a fractured jaw, there was no fracture! She was so very honest & humble. I have NEVER had a vet with such compassion. So, if you love & adore your fur babies as we do, DON’T waste your time & money at Beville Animal Hospital. Bring your loved ones to Spruce Creek Animal Clinic and have them treat & care for them. You won’t regret it!!!
