Not a great experience

We called ahead of time for early check-in and staff informed us after checking we would be able to do so. We arrived one hour early and the staff stated, “Well you didn’t talk to me on the phone and I’m the only one here.” We had to stay in the car with two stressed cats for one hour. I’ve stayed at multiple pet hotels whilst driving across the country with my cats and never have there been a raised bed with space in between. When looking under the bed there was trash and dirt all over. My cats were able to get under the bed, not only that but the mattress had a hole in it and we couldn’t get the cat out of said hole when trying to check out. The bathroom was stained, tile had gunk in it, wood was old and rotted at corners. So to sum up, staff not friendly or professional and the room was dirty.
