Convenient drive up rooms!
Comfort Inn SimcoeSmall (1 queen) room was clean and comfortable. The drive up/sliding door access made loading/unloading with our Golden very easy. Decent value.
Fantastic stopover spot!
Lord Nelson MotelSuper easy approach off 401, super clean and refreshed/new large rooms. Classic “old school“ motel with drive up access to all rooms (terrific with dogs!) and a nice green area for light dog exercise. Excellent value (for a change!) in mid-point stopovers along the Toronto/Montreal corridor.
Luxury chill
Skaneateles SuitesSpectacular drive through the mountains in A+ fall colours and the beautiful town led us a short way out of town to a beautiful (and so well maintained) property with private semi-bungalows, many with large corner Jacuzzi and spacious area. Great friendly greetings, smooth (early!) check-in, with LOTS of open green grass for dog (and human)exercise. A truly, lovely spot.
Decent stop off 390
Super 8 by Wyndham Bath Hammondsport AreaClean, comfortable. Not much more to say.
Handy location
Sword Motor InnVery basic, but room was clean and pool was operating (hot tub n/a). Sauna was ok after a bit of work. FANTASTIC parkland just behind the rooms was a joy for our pup!
Noisy
Motel Les Pignons VertsThe pet friendly room we were assigned was between 2 apparently long-term guests, which meant little privacy and a fair amount of outside noise to distract our pup. The room was small and “rustic,” but admittedly reasonably clean.
