Bide-a-Wee is the best
Bide-A-Wee InnGreat rates, nice location and Asilomar Dunes Park is a couple blocks away for wonderful dog walks. Also nice places for dogs to potty on the property.

Anchor Beach InnNice spacious room, beach across the street and three restaurants you can walk to. What more do you need!

Fine for what it is
Merrill Field InnLodging in Anchorage is expensive (to me) and this hotel had a reasonable rate and pet fee ($25). We’d been camping in the rain and wanted to dry out and give our pup some play room. Not a fancy hotel but the front desk person was nice and the room was fine, plenty of hot water. Only weird thing was the bed had a plastic mattress cover like you would have for a bed wetter. Plenty of lights in the parking lot. Other people staying in the hotel were “normal” people like us :)
