Compassionate and Kind Folks

My late dog Dozer had an emergency complication on a weekend with a long-term disease he’d been fighting for over a year at that point, and his usual established vet wasn’t available on the weekend at all. In a pinch, I took him to this emergency vet, and while I did have to let him cross the rainbow bridge that day, the staff were so deeply loving and doting and kind not only to Dozer but to me as I went through my first loss of a dog. They made the process as gentle as possible and even allowed my other dog at the time, who had known Dozer since I got him, to come in and see Dozer before he had to go so they could say goodbye and be together. They made my options for after the procedure very clear and answered all my questions before, during, and after it all with clarity and care. I even received a card signed by all the staff with hand-written condolences notes that spoke of Dozer by name.

While it was an immensely and understandably difficult experience despite their incredible and deeply caring efforts, I would trust them with emergency services in a heartbeat, and have recommended them to others personally in the past.

Thank you to the staff for making such a hard time as easy and simple as possible. It meant everything, and still does.

Great location and free dog ice cream!

Located right next to Heritage Park, which has a sizable dog park with two different areas for both large and small dogs, this is a great after-park stop to give your pup a little treat for playing so well! The human flavors are excellent as well!
