Seasonal dog policy

Summer only on patio. We were seated in the fall with a puppy and told we were totally fine this time when staff seated us but would have left or ordered take out if told other wise. Being our 3 rd visit here we were happy to return.
Half way through the meal we were asked to speed/hurry it up due to concerns of the puppy because they were setting up music. We don't know why that mattered. He did bark a few times but did stay at our table, stopped when commended and was leashed, in training for service animal and hypo allergenic.
We believe we should have been told before ordering and paying $85 that take out was available as they could not allow us in but decided to say staff was updated on the policy as if they did not know, not nice to blame your workers and not good for moral either.
We don’t have any issue with a dog policy but do not change it when you are listed on a bring fido site where we did due diligence. We know not everyone is a fan and can and would respect that.
We do not respect how were were treated.
