Room not so great!
Red Roof Inn WalterboroThe check-in process was fine. When we opened the door to our room - it smelled like nicotine. I went to the front desk and explained about the smell and the person immediately gave us another room. She then went with me to check out the smell in the room I first had and then we went to the room we were moved to and they both smelled the same. She said it must be the cleaning products that were used. We decided to just stay because we had traveled over nine hours at that point. Upon settling in - the light on the main wall wasn't working and we discovered that the electrical cord had been cut. The bathtub had tried soap on the edge and the alarm clock wasn't working. A suggestion would be for them to check the room out after they have been cleaned so see if it was done correctly. We decided we would not stay in a Red Roof Inn again.

Aloft Jacksonville AirportExcellent location with many eating options close. Room was great and check-in wonderful!
