Clean, nice pool for kids, big comfortable room, great price, & close to Carlsbad Caverns.

We ended up staying here because there are not many hotels in Alamogordo that take big dogs. I wish I would have researched harder. The room, toilet & bathtub were dirty and it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. I used my own Lysol wipes to clean the shower/tub the best I could so I could use it. The towels were dirty & threadbare. I use better towels when I wash my car! Containers of liquid left in fridge & melted cheese in microwave means housekeeping didn’t even bother to open either one, the blanket on the bed had a big cigarette burn, the tv didn’t work at all & the cherry on top of this terrible mess of a hotel was the black mold growing on the bathroom ceiling. I asked where to take my dog to go potty & was told behind the motel. Which was gravel & broken glass everywhere. I have no problem staying in an old run down motel but at least keep the rooms & linens clean. This place is a nightmare.

Room was ok. Staff at front desk was nice. Pulled up to a parking spot as housekeeping was dumping a mop bucket over the railing from the second floor onto the sidewalk below... strange but ok, at least I know the floors are mopped. The dog area was a big let down. A fenced in dusty, dirt area. No garbage can for waste, just a garbage bag lying on the ground open that looks like it’s been there a few days, no lights & some poop on the ground that someone didn’t pick up after their dog. Looks a little unsafe in the dark. There’s grass in the courtyard & around the pool area, why they don’t have grass in the pet area is beyond me. At 4 am, I let my dog pee in the courtyard grass near the edge. I wasn’t going out in the dark to the back of the property where I don’t feel safe.

Found this place after most hotels in the area were booked for the night. This place is a gem! From the owners & staff, dog park, clean & cozy cabins, nature walk & dog walk, I never want to stay in a hotel again with my dog. We booked ahead for our next night on the road at another KOA cabin in Texas. If it’s 1/2 as nice as this one, I’ll be a happy camper!!

TV didn’t work but a really nice lady who worked the front desk came to my room and worked on it for suite a while until she got it fixed. Also the leg on the TV was broke & it was propped up.

Cute place, comfortable stay, green grass for pet relief.

A bit older but comfortable stay. Laundry shed could use some cleaning & updating but other than that it was a good place to stay & very close to the park. I’d stay here again.

We didn’t use the pool but it looked gorgeous, outside seating, swings & grills. Lots of grass for dogs. Staff was welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean. I loved that it was off the busy road. Definitely would stay there again.

Nice stay outside of New Orleans. Older but clean. Would stay here again. There’s a Cafe DuMond right down the road that opens at 6am.

We loved this place, adorable cabins in the historic town of Tombstone. Sat out on the porch swing at dusk and a herd of about 12 deer walked by just a few feet away! Big owls in the morning, what a wonderful stay!

Stopped by on our way through NM. Great dog park inside a community park. We met some wonderful regulars who come to the park every morning.

I love this park & so does our Rebel! It has 3 large fenced in areas for small, medium & large dogs to play off leash. Water & waste bags are provided and there’s lots of shade & benches. It’s a bit of a drive from where we live but well worth it. We will be back

We just got back to Florida from a cross country road trip & decided Rebel needed a fun day after being such a good boy the whole trip. This place was perfect! He has never been around this many dogs at once but he adapted quickly, he made new friends & had a lot of fun playing in the pool. This place was just what he needed. I hope to bring him back every time we come back to Clearwater/St. Pete area. One quick note, the pool attendants did a wonderful job to ensure there was zero aggression between the dogs. I’m an over attentive dog mom, & was relived to see these ladies ensuring everyone’s safety

Our waiter Joel was the best. He took great care of Rebel as well as us . Food was delicious & quick. We had the prime rib sliders & the fries were crispy to perfection. Joel brought Rebel some milk bones & that kept our young dog happy while we ate. Definitely recommend!
Really nice dog park with grass, shade , benches . Perfect spot for us while travel highway 40

This is a nice small park that has grass, unfortunately there are many big holes some are pretty deep. My dog fell while running because his back leg fell in a hole. Luckily he wasn’t hurt . The grass was a little long so the holes aren’t easily visible. About 10 mins later I took a step back & unknowingly found another hole behind me. If you visit this park, be careful
